Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.
A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.
The arrests come after a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was among the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and were later released.
Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.
Police were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals injured by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.
The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
